Rams to monitor Matthew Stafford arm throughout season
Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford will have his throwing arm monitored throughout the season, per Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic.
Stafford has been managing an issue with his throwing arm since last season and he recently said that he will require some routine days off throughout the regular season. Rodrigue writes that the Rams will "keep one eye" on Stafford's arm during the year, but according to multiple observations over the past two weeks, the quarterback's accuracy and velocity have both been extremely impressive.
Stafford is the QB10 in numberFire's preseason fantasy rankings. Our models project him for 4,567.0 yards with 37.00 touchdowns and 12.7 interceptions, plus 128.7 rushing yards and 1.36 scores.
