Chase Claypool (shoulder) returns to Steelers practice
Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Chase Claypool (shoulder) returned to practice in full pads on Monday.
Claypool, who injured his shoulder on July 29, was supposed to return last Friday, but the practice was rained out. The third-year wideout should be good to go for the Steelers' first preseason game on Saturday versus the Seattle Seahawks. Claypool is coming off a disappointing sophomore campaign, but he is due for some positive touchdown regression in 2022 after only scoring twice on 5.12 expected scores last year.
Claypool is currently the WR34 in numberFire's preseason fantasy rankings. Our models project him for 112.6 targets, 67.5 receptions, 888.2 yards, and 4.38 touchdowns, with another 55.1 rushing yards sprinkled on top.
