Eagles' Dallas Goedert focused on "getting better each and every day" heading into training camp

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert is focused on "getting better each and every day" leading into training camp.

What It Means:

Goedert was asked what his ceiling is in the 2022 Eagles' offense, and he responded "I just want to keep getting better each and every day. I think I can get better every day. I think there's a lot I can improve on and keep getting better, which is a really exciting thing. I was able to learn, work on some things in OTAs, get a few corrections from the coaches and keep using this time to get better and get ready for a big season this year." Goedert will enter 2022 as the Eagles' top option at the tight end position for the first time in his career following Zach Ertz's trade to the Arizona Cardinals last October. Goedert earned Pro Football Focus' second-highest tight end grade (90.7) last season, behind the Baltimore Ravens' Mark Andrews, and tied with the San Francisco 49ers' George Kittle.

Goedert is currently the TE8 in numberFire's preseason rankings. Our models project him for 63.7 receptions on 96.9 targets for 700.8 yards and 4.73 touchdowns.
