DeForest Buckner and Myles Jack in play for 49ers at seventh pick
The San Francisco 49ers are eyeing up DeForest Buckner and Myles Jack in the first round, ESPN's Bob Holtzman said.
The Niners would be an obvious landing spot for Jack; 49ers general manager Trent Baalke has never been shy about drafting players with medical concerns, and San Francisco never found a 2015 inside linebacker replacement for Patrick Willis and Chris Borland. Buckner, who played for Chip Kelly at Oregon, would book end college teammate Arik Armstead on San Francisco's line.
The 2015 49ers ranked 25th in the league in Adjusted Defensive Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) and 26th in Adjusted Defensive Rushing NEP.
