Seahawks to re-sign Brandon Browner

The Seattle Seahawks will re-sign free agent cornerback Brandon Browner on Monday, according to CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora.

What It Means:

Browner really struggled in 2015, committing 23 penalties and being part of a New Orleans Saints secondary which posted the worst schedule-adjusted Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) per play (0.36) in our database, which dates back to 2000. Seattle ranked fifth in the league in that category, and it would be surprising if Browner came back and played a big role.
