Bills sign wideout Jamison Crowder to one-year contract
The Buffalo Bills signed free agent wide receiver Jamison Crowder to a one-year contract.
The Bills have likely signed Crowder to replace Cole Beasley as their primary slot receiver. If Crowder (who has dealt with injuries throughout his career) can stay healthy, he could be walking into a high-volume role in a high-powered offense; Beasley drew more than 100 targets in each of his three seasons with the Bills.
Crowder went through a down 2021 season with the Jets, suffering through calf and core injuries while playing alongside multiple other starting-caliber receivers for the first time in his Jets tenure. He'll compete for targets on the Bills with Stefon Diggs, Gabriel Davis, and Dawson Knox in 2022.
