Chiefs sign JuJu Smith-Schuster to one-year deal
Former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster is signing a one-year deal with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Smith-Schuster intends to sign a one-year deal with the Chiefs worth $10.75 million. The 25-year-old former second-round draft pick will slot into the Chiefs' passing game alongside Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce. His departure from Pittsburgh leaves Diontae Johnson and Chase Claypool as the clear top-two options for quarterback Mitchell Trubisky.
In 5 games for Pittsburgh last season, Smith-Schuster caught 15 of 28 targets for 129 yards. The season before that, he played in all 16 games, hauling in 97 of 128 targets for 831 yards and 9 touchdowns.
