Mike Williams signs three-year contract to remain with Chargers
Mike Williams signed a contract to remain with the Los Angeles Chargers on Tuesday.
Williams, who was a prime candidate for the Chargers' franchise tag, came to an agreement with Los Angeles on a three-year deal with up to $60 million. The deal includes $40 million in guaranteed salary. The 27-year-old former seventh overall draft pick has played his entire career with the Chargers and will remain a part of the team's high-powered offense led by Justin Herbert.
Williams played in 16 games for the Chargers last season, hauling in 76 receptions on 129 targets for 1,146 yards and 9 touchdowns. The receptions, targets, and yard totals were all career highs for Williams.
