Buccaneers release Antonio Brown
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers released wide receiver Antonio Brown.
What It Means:
Brown has claimed the Buccaneers tried forcing him to play injured last week, but the team has refuted such claims. Brown will turn 34 this summer and it's unclear if another team will ever give him another chance to play. Mike Evans and Rob Gronkowski will be Tom Brady's top targets as Tampa Bay makes another playoff run.
Brown averaged 8.9 targets over seven games for the Buccaneers this season, second on the team, and 14.3 FanDuel points per game.
