Update: Buccaneers have not yet officially released Antonio Brown
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have not officially released receiver Antonio Brown per Monday's waiver reports.
Head coach Bruce Arians implied in yesterday's post-game interviews that the team had released the veteran receiver after his erratic behavior during yesterday's game, but the official waiver wire report Monday revealed that the team has not yet made any official moves. Adam Schefter has reported that "rhere are ongoing discussions with the NFL about how to move ahead in this situation," implying that the incident has been escalated to the league's attention.
Brown had only just returned from a separate suspension for lying about his vaccination status, and the league may be considering more severe repercussions (especially considering his history both on and off the field). This will be a situation to monitor in the coming days.
