Elijah Mitchell (knee) limited for 49ers Wednesday
San Francisco 49ers running back Elijah Mitchell (knee) was limited in Wednesday's practice for Week 17 versus the Houston Texans.
Mitchell missed the previous three games, but he now should be on track for Sunday's matchup with the Texans. The rookie averaged 28.0 touches over his last three games before injuring his knee, but the 49ers may opt to also utilize Jeff Wilson to lighten Mitchell's load.
numberFire's models currently project Mitchell for 14.6 touches in Week 17 versus a Texans team that is allowing the fourth-most FanDuel points per game to the running back position. Wilson is projected for 4.8 touches.
