Texans activate Brandin Cooks from COVID list
The Houston Texans activated Brandin Cooks from the reserve/COVID-19 list.
Cooks is ready to return for Week 17 versus the San Francisco 49ers following a one-game absence. That will be an upgrade for Davis Mills and the offense as a whole, but it also means fewer targets available for everyone else. Cooks hit the century mark in each of his last two games while totaling 15 catches on 21 targets and scoring twice.
Cooks is the WR20 in numberFire's Week 17 fantasy rankings and our models project him for 8.3 targets. The 49ers are ranked 23rd in FanDuel points allowed per game to the wide receiver position this season.
