Salvon Ahmed inactive for Dolphins in Week 16
The Miami Dolphins listed running back Salvon Ahmed as an inactive for Monday's Week 16 game against the New Orleans Saints.
Ahmed's status is not a big surprise as the back hasn't touched the ball since Week 13, but it should reassure fantasy managers who picked up Duke Johnson on waiver wires that his workload should remain viable for fantasy.
Johnson, who burst onto the scene with 127 yards and 2 scores on 23 touches in Week 15, has a $5,700 salary on FanDuel. While Johnson is expected to lead the Dolphins' backfield, he'll face a much stingier defense this week in the Saints, who have shut down most opposing running backs all year. Our models currently project him for 7.7 fantasy points.
