Bills place Gabriel Davis on COVID list, inactive Week 16
The Buffalo Bills placed wide receiver Gabriel Davis on the reserve/COVID list.
The Bills will now be without Davis and Cole Beasley in Week 16 against the New England Patriots. Isaiah McKenzie is in line for a larger role in Buffalo's offense and Emmanuel Sanders should see more targets if he returns from his knee injury. Davis caught 5 passes on 7 targets for 85 yards and 2 touchdowns in the Bills' Week 15 win over the Carolina Panthers.
In Week 15, Davis was tied for first on the Bills in routes (35) and he led the team in targets (7), receptions (5), receiving yards (85), and touchdowns (2). On the year, he ranks 27th in yards per route run (1.81) out of 72 receivers with 40-plus targets. Davis is averaging 17.9 points per game over the last two weeks and has seen 19 targets in his last three.
