Giants activate Kadarius Toney from reserve/COVID list
The New York Giants activated wide receiver Kadarius Toney from the reserve/COVID-19 list.
Toney is still dealing with an oblique injury that sidelined him prior to landing on the reserve list, so it's not clear if he will be available for Week 16 versus the Philadelphia Eagles. Sterling Shepard (Achilles) is done for the season, so Toney would immediately step in as a top target for the Giants, but unfortunately he will be trying to catch passes from Jake Fromm or Mike Glennon.
Toney is averaging 5.3 targets per game and 8.2 yards per target this season. The Eagles have the No. 24 pass defense in numberFire's adjusted metrics.
