The Green Bay Packers placed wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling on the reserve/COVID list.
Valdes-Scantling is now uncertain for the Packers' Week 16 matchup with the Cleveland Browns on Christmas night. Allen Lazard will play a larger role as Green Bay's clear No. 2 receiver if Valdes-Scantling can't clear protocols in time for Saturday.
Lazard out-snapped Valdes-Scantling 49-41 in the Packers' Week 15 win over the Baltimore Ravens while registering a 79% offensive snap share. MVS still caught 5 passes on 7 targets for 98 yards and a touchdown. He is averaging the second-most targets per game (5.7) behind Davante Adams (10.4).
