Seahawks' Adrian Peterson not expected to play Week 14
Seattle Seahawks running back Adrian Peterson is not expected to play Week 14 against the Houston Texans, per Brady Henderson of ESPN.
Peterson did not practice on Wednesday or Thursday and Henderson believes the Seahawks will hold the veteran out this week. Alex Collins (abdomen) is expected to return from his one-game absence and take over as the primary early-down back. Rashaad Penny and DeeJay Dallas could also see a few touches. Travis Homer (calf, hamstring) is uncertain to play.
numberFire's models currently project Peterson for 5.6 carries and Collins for 11.3 carries in Week 14. The Texans have the No. 22 run defense in the NFL, according to our schedule-adjusted metrics.
