T.J. Hockenson (hand) absent from open part of Lions practice
Detroit Lions tight end T.J. Hockenson (hand) did not participate in the portion of Thursday's practice open to the media.
Hockenson was seen with his hand heavily wrapped. He was listed as limited on Wednesday's injury report and the Lions may give him the same designation on Thursday, but the wrapped hand suggests Hockenson could be dealing with a real injury. He has scored touchdowns in back-to-back weeks after failing to hit pay dirt from Weeks 3-11. The Lions are playing the Denver Broncos in Week 14.
The Broncos are allowing the fewest FanDuel points per game to the tight end position this season. Hock is the TE6 in numberFire's Week 14 fantasy rankings and our models project him for 7.2 targets on Sunday.
