Joe Mixon (illness) misses Bengals practice Wednesday
Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon did not practice on Wednesday due to an illness, per head coach Zac Taylor.
Mixon briefly left Week 13 due to a neck injury, but Taylor only mentioned that Wednesday's absence was due to a non-COVID illness. Samaje Perine will take over as the Bengals' lead back if Mixon is unable to play in Week 14 against the San Francisco 49ers.
Mixon is the RB7 in numberFire's Week 14 fantasy rankings and our models project him for 15.7 FanDuel points. Mixon ranks 11th in the NFL among running backs with 28 red zone carries and he has converted 10 of those attempts into touchdowns.
