Washington puts Logan Thomas (knee) on IR, done for season
The Washington Football Team placed tight end Logan Thomas (knee) on injured reserve.
Thomas will miss the remainder of the season because this is his second stint on the shelf this season and players who are placed on IR are for a second time are not allowed to return. Ricky Seals-Jones (hip) will take over as Washington's starting tight end if he's able to return. John Bates is next up on the depth chart.
numberFire's models project RSJ for 4.1 targets on Sunday. He is averaging a 16.4% target share per contest in his four complete games without Thomas. Among tight ends from Weeks 5-10, Seals-Jones was tied for 16th in receiving yards (192), 13th in targets (28), tied for 10th in receptions (10), and 4th in routes (183).
