Football Team's Logan Thomas (knee) appears to have avoided ACL tear
Based on early MRI testing, Washington Football Team tight end Logan Thomas (knee) appears to have avoided tearing his ACL after suffering a knee injury in Week 13.
There were concerns following yesterday's win over the Las Vegas Raiders that the tight end suffered a season-ending ACL injury, but the early test results shine a more positive light on the matter. While Thomas will undergo further testing to determine the extent of the injury, he may yet be able to return this season.
It's been an injury-plagued season for Thomas in 2021 after his breakout 2020 campaign. The converted quarterback suffered a hamstring injury in Week 4, and then played just 1.5 more games after returning before hurting his knee. He's posted 18 catches for 196 yards and 3 scores so far this season, and will hopefully have a chance to do more this season.
