New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones (neck) is likely out for Week 14 against the Los Angeles Chargers, reports Ralph Vacchiano of SNY.
Jones was inactive for Sunday's 20-9 loss to the Miami Dolphins and he's expected to miss at least one more game. Mike Glennon started in place of Jones and suffered a concussion, so Jake Fromm will be taking first-team reps in preparation for Week 14. Fromm would be a sharp downgrade for all of the Giants' skill-players.
Fromm completed 21-of-36 passes (58.3%) for 172 yards with no touchdowns and no interceptions in the preseason. He earned a 77.1 passing grade from Pro Football Focus, which ranked 15th among preseason quarterbacks. The Chargers are allowing the sixth-fewest FanDuel points per game to the quarterback position this season.
