Steelers place T.J. Watt on the reserve/COVID list ahead of Week 13
The Pittsburgh Steelers have placed edge rusher T.J. Watt on the reserve/COVID list ahead of their Week 13 game against the Baltimore Ravens.
Watt has been as dominant as ever in the 2021 season, forcing 3 fumbles and 13 tackles for a loss, and has been on pace to break his personal record for sacks with 12.5 through 9 games already this season. The Ravens could be in for an easy game on offense in Week 13 if Watt is forced to miss the game.
Watt has graded out as Pro Football Focus' fourth-best edge defender on the season, and has helped a spiraling Steelers team maintain a .500 record despite their consistent offensive woes. His absence will be sorely felt if he is indeed rule out for Week 13.
