Falcons' Cordarrelle Patterson (ankle) to be GTD Thursday
Atlanta Falcons running back Cordarrelle Patterson (ankle) will be a game-time decision on Thursday against the New England Patriots, per head coach Arthur Smith.
Patterson sprained his ankle in the first half of the Falcons' blowout loss to the Dallas Cowboys and didn't play at all in the second half. However, he's been active at practice all week, so perhaps the lopsided score played a larger role than the injury. Wayne Gallman and Mike Davis will likely split the Falcons' backfield work if Patterson is ruled out.
From Weeks 2-9, Patterson averaged 15.9 opportunities and played between 30-73% of the Falcons' offensive snaps. numberfire's models currently project Gallman for 12.5 touches and 13.6 FanDuel points versus the Patriots. Davis is projected for 13.6 touches and 13.5 FanDuel points. New England has the No. 12 run defense in our power rankings for the season.
