Clyde Edwards-Helaire (knee) expected back for Chiefs Week 11
Kansas City Chiefs running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire (knee, injured reserve) has a "pretty good chance" to play in Week 11 against the Dallas Cowboys, per head coach Andy Reid.
Reid said Edwards-Helaire has a "better shot this week" to play after the second-year back returned to practice last week. Darrel Williams has filled in as the Chiefs' lead back and it's not clear whether he will cede that role to Edwards-Helaire, or if Reid will go with more of a split backfield.
CEH rushed 65 times for 304 yards and caught 8 passes (10 targets) for 61 yards and 2 touchdowns in five games before landing on IR. Williams has earned a superior rushing grade (62.3) than CEH (57.6) from Pro Football Focus this season.
