Dolphins preparing Jacoby Brissett for Thursday start
Miami Dolphins quarterback Jacoby Brissett is preparing to start Week 10 against the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday, per Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network.
Wolfe says the Dolphins are still "holding out hope" that Tua Tagovailoa can improve his grip enough by Thursday to make the start, but they are preparing as if Brissett will be under center again. Dolphins head coach Brian Flores said earlier this week that Tagovailoa would be a game-time decision. Jaylen Waddle and Mike Gesicki should see the majority of targets either way.
Jacoby is averaging 15.4 FanDuel points and 233.3 passing yards over four starts this season with 5 touchdowns and 3 picks. The Ravens are a pass-funnel defense, ranking 4th against the run and 22nd against the pass this season, according to numberFire's schedule-adjusted metrics.
