DeAndre Hopkins (hamstring) ruled out for Cardinals in Week 9
The Arizona Cardinals have ruled out wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins for Sunday's Week 9 game against the San Francisco 49ers.
Hopkins was a "game time decision" for the Cardinals, but the team reportedly had their doubts about his availability from the get go. Hopefully he'll be ready for Week 10 after a week of rest.
The Cardinals will be missing both Hopkins and A.J. Green (reserve/COVID) in Week 9, and meaning they will be forced to give much higher snap counts to both Christian Kirk and Rondale Moore. Zach Ertz, who has a $5,500 salary, could be the primary beneficiary with Colt McCoy under center.
