Panthers' Sam Darnold (shoulder, concussion) active for Week 9 versus Patriots
Sam Darnold (shoulder, concussion) is active for the Carolina Panthers in Sunday's Week 9 game against the New England Patriots.
Darnold will play Sunday despite suffering a concussion and a shoulder injury in Week 8's strange win over the Atlanta Falcons. However, his fantasy potential is limited as he takes on Bill Belichick's Patriots, who have previously caused the young quarterback to see ghosts.
Darnold has a $7,000 salary on FanDuel and is projected for 15 fantasy points this week. While he started the season off hot due to his multiple rushing touchdowns, Darnold has a high of 16 fantasy points over the past four weeks.
