Dolphins' Tua Tagovailoa (finger) sitting for Week 9; Jacoby Brissett expected to start
Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa (fractured finger) will not play in Sunday's Week 9 game against the Houston Texans. Jacoby Brissett will fill in as the team's quarterback.
Tagovailoa's finger injury is apparently worse than initially expected, as X-rays revealed that the second-year quarterback fractured a bone in the middle finger of his throwing hand. With Tagovailoa sidelined, Jacoby Brissett will once again take over as the Dolphins' starting quarterback.
Fortunately for the Dolphins, they draw the league's softest matchup this week, meaning Brissett will hopefully be able to guide the team to a comfortable win. Brissett has a $6,100 salary on FanDuel and has averaged 17.02 fantasy points per game in his 3 starts this season.
