Giants' Sterling Shepard (quad) out for Week 9
New York Giants wide receiver Sterling Shepard (quad) will not play in the team's Week 9 game against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Shepard has endured a season of brutal injury luck; after finally putting a lingering hamstring issue behind him, the veteran receiver suffered a painful quad injury on Monday Night Football and is now expected to miss even more time. He'll sit out Sunday's Week 9 game while he recovers.
While Shepard will miss today's game, the Giants may finally have offseason addition Kenny Golladay (knee) back in the mix against the Raiders and will have rookie Kadarius Toney. Golladay has a $6,000 salary on FanDuel and is projected to score 9.7 fantasy points, while Toney has a $5,700 salary and is projected for 11.6 points.
