Latavius Murray (ankle) absent from Ravens practice again

Baltimore Ravens running back Latavius Murray (ankle) remained sidelined at Thursday's practice.

What It Means:

Murray is heading toward another absence in Week 9 agains the Minnesota Vikings. Devonta Freeman, Le'Veon Bell, and Ty'Son Williams will likely split backfield duties again on Sunday versus the Vikings if Murray remains out. In Week 7 without Murray, Lamar Jackson led the Ravens with 12 rush attempts and none of the backs had more than five carries.

Freeman led the Ravens running backs in offensive snap share (40%) and touches (7) in Week 7 without Murray, but not by much. The Vikings are ranked 20th in Adjusted Rushing Net Expected Points allowed per play this season.
