Giants' Saquon Barkley (ankle) making 'good progress'
New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley (ankle) could return to practice on Friday, per head coach Joe Judge.
Judge said Barkley is making "good progress" and he is "optimistic" the running back will return to practice on Friday. Devontae Booker has filled in as the Giants' lead back during Barkley's absence. Barkley would likely step right back into workhorse duties in Week 8 versus the Kansas City Chiefs if he's cleared.
Booker is averaging 13.9 FanDuel points in the last three games since Barkley injured his ankle. The Chiefs are allowing the fourth-most Adjusted Rushing Net Expected Points per play this season.
