Philadelphia Eagles running back Miles Sanders (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday ahead of Week 8's game against the Detroit Lions.
Sanders is dealing with a sprained ankle and his availability for future weeks remains up in the air. A return to practice in any capacity this week would be a great sign that his timetable for return is on the shorter side. If Sanders is ruled out for Week 8, like he is expected to be, Boston Scott and Kenneth Gainwell would see an increase in touches out of the Eagles' backfield.
Gainwell's Week 8 projection includes 41.2 rushing yards, 27.1 receiving yards, 0.52 touchdowns, and 11.3 FanDuel points. His salary is $5,900.
