Green Bay Packers wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling (hamstring) is expected to be activated off injured reserve and play Thursday night versus the Arizona Cardinals, reports Doug Kyed of PFF.
The Packers currently have Davante Adams and Allen Lazard on the reserve/COVID-19 list, so Valdes-Scantling's return could be a huge boost for Aaron Rodgers and the offense. Three-wide sets will likely consist of Randall Cobb, Equanimeous St. Brown, and Amari Rodgers if the three receivers in question are all unavailable.
During a two-game absence for Adams in 2020, MVS led the Packers with a 20.0% target share. In the first three games this season, he registered a 15.9% target share (5.3 per game). The Cardinals are allowing the second-fewest Adjusted Passing Net Expected Points per play this season. Valdes-Scantling has a $6,500 salary on FanDuel's Thursday slate.
