Kadarius Toney (ankle) absent again at Giants practice

New York Giants wide receiver Kadarius Toney (ankle) did not practice again Thursday.

What It Means:

Toney is expected to miss at least one game. Kenny Golladay (knee) also remained sidelined Thursday and could be headed for another absence. Darius Slayton (hamstring) and John Ross (hamstring) appear on track to return for the Giants, but Sterling Shepard will be the clear top target for Daniel Jones on Sunday versus the Carolina Panthers.

Shepard is currently the WR21 in numberFire's Week 7 fantasy rankings and he has a $6,500 salary on FanDuel this week. In his three healthy games this season, Shepard is averaging 11.0 targets and 94.3 yards per contest. The Panthers are allowing the fifth-fewest Adjusted Passing Net Expected Points per play this season.
