Seahawks have "no ETA" on Chris Carson's (neck) return

Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said the team has "no ETA" for the return of running back Chris Carson (neck).

What It Means:

The Seahawks place Carson on the injured reserve ahead of their Week 6 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, but it's not clear when Carson, who has been diagnosed with a chronic neck injury, will be able to return. Carson is approaching droppable territory in season-long fantasy leagues without injured reserve spots.

With Carson sidelined, the Seahawks leaned heavily on Alex Collins, who himself picked up hip and glute injuries in the Seahawks' Sunday Night Football loss. Collins handled 21 touches in the loss, but could see his opportunity share dwindle with the return of Rashaad Penny from the injured reserve.
