Melvin Gordon (hip) limited Monday for Denver
Denver Broncos running back Melvin Gordon (hip) was listed as a limited participant on the team's Monday injury report.
Gordon has been on the injury report with a hip injury for several weeks, but doesn't seem to bothered by it too much on Sundays. The Broncos appear to be giving the veteran rest during the practice week, which can't hurt ahead of their Week 7 Thursday Night Football matchup with the Cleveland Browns.
Gordon has managed to stave off any kind of backfield takeover by rookie teammate Javonte Williams, with the pair working in a dead-even timeshare through the first six weeks of the season. Both backs could see significant volume on Thursday night if the Browns are without quarterback Baker Mayfield.
