Tua Tagovailoa (ribs) to start for Dolphins in London
Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa (ribs) will start in Week 6 against the Jacksonville Jaguars in London, barring a setback at Friday's practice, per head coach Brian Flores.
Tagovailoa missed the minimum three games on injured reserve with fractured ribs, but he's ready to return for an offense that has totaled just six touchdowns in over 15 quarters of play with Jacoby Brissett under center. It's a potentially perfect get-right spot against a Jaguars defense that has allowed over 400 yards in three games and at least 368 yards in all five.
The Dolphins are averaging the fourth-fewest Passing Net Expected Points per play this season, but they get to face a Jaguars team that is allowing the most adjusted Passing NEP per play this season. They are allowing the second-highest completion percentage (73.6) in the league, as well as the second-most yards per attempt (9.2) and the third-most yards per completion (12.6). Tua has a $6,600 salary on FanDuel in Week 6.
