Kenny Golladay (knee) absent from Giants practice again

New York Giants wide receiver Kenny Golladay (knee) is not practicing again on Thursday.

What It Means:

Golladay also missed Wednesday's practice and he's not expected to play Week 6 versus the Los Angeles Rams. Sterling Shepard (hamstring) and Darius Slayton (hamstring) are both expected to return from their respective multi-game absences this week, so they will likely join emerging rookie Kadarius Toney (ankle) in three-wide sets. Saquon Barkley, who has the fourth-highest target share on the team (11.4%), is also expected to miss Sunday's game.

Per numberFire's NFL Heat Map, the Giants are 10.0-point underdogs in Week 6, tied for the widest spread on the board. The Rams are No. 13 against the pass in our adjusted team rankings. numberFire's models expect Shepard to lead the Giants with 6.9 targets on Sunday, followed by Toney at 6.4 targets.
