Seahawks' Russell Wilson (finger) could return in close to 4 weeks
Adam Schefter reports that Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson (finger) could return in four weeks.
Wilson was originally projected to miss at least 6 weeks with his finger injury, but according to Schefter's sources, doctors now believe the veteran quarterback could return after just 4 after his successful surgery earlier this week.
The Seahawks will be hard-pressed to find many wins without Wilson, but could still be in the playoff hunt if backup Geno Smith can eke out a couple wins while Wilson recovers. Smith completed 10 of 17 pass attempts in relief of Wilson on Thursday night, going for 131 yards, 1 score, and 1 interception.
