Rapaport: Peyton Barber (turf toe) could be out for Raiders multiple weeks
Las Vegas Raiders running back Peyton Barber could miss multiple weeks with a turf toe injury, reports Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Barber is still undergoing additional testing to determine the extent of the injury, but Rapoport believes it will sideline him for multiple weeks. Barber filled in admirably in Week 3 for Josh Jacobs, but even when healthy, he is unlikely to have much of a role with Jacobs and Kenyan Drake both active. Jacobs (ankle) was limited in Wednesday's practice, but he avoided a setback on Monday night and is on track to play in Week 5 against the Chicago Bears.
Jacobs is the RB20 in numberFire's Week 5 fantasy rankings and our models project him for 10.8 FanDuel points. The Bears are allowing the ninth-fewest Rushing Net Expected Points per carry this season.
