Broncos believe Jerry Jeudy (ankle) could be back by Week 7
Denver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy (ankle) could be back by Week 7 against the Cleveland Browns, per comments from head coach Vic Fangio.
"His progress the last week or so has been very good," Fangio said. "I think we originally said it to be six-to-eight (weeks). There's some hope for the six." That leaves open the possibility of Jeudy returning by Week 7, but the Broncos play the Browns on Thursday night that week, so a Week 8 matchup with the Washington Football Team may be more feasible. Courtland Sutton and Tim Patrick have dominated most of the wide receiver targets with Jeudy and K.J. Hamler (knee) both on injured reserve. Kendall Hinton's snap share will take a hit once Jeudy is activated.
The Broncos play a Pittsburgh Steelers team in Week 5 that has the No. 19 pass defense in numberFire's advanced team rankings. Sutton is the WR30 in our weekly fantasy rankings and he has a $6,100 salary on FanDuel. Patrick is the WR49 with a $6,000 salary.
