Pittsburgh's Diontae Johnson (knee) remains sidelined on Thursday
Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Diontae Johnson (knee) was a non-participant in Thursday's practice.
Johnson's second straight absence is a negative sign towards his Week 3 availability against the Cincinnati Bengals. Expect Chase Claypool and JuJu Smith-Schuster to see an uptick in targets against a leaky Bengals' unit ranked 21st in FanDuel points allowed per game to wideouts this season if Johnson is inactive.
Claypool's current Week 3 projection includes 4.5 receptions for 57.8 yards on 7.3 targets while Smith-Schuster's expectation includes 5.6 receptions for 43.7 yards on 8.2 targets.
