Buccaneers place Antonio Brown on COVID-19 list

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers placed wide receiver Antonio Brown on the COVID-19 list.

What It Means:

Brown will need to have two negative tests at least 24 hours apart in order to get cleared for Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Rams. Tyler Johnson and Scotty Miller, who have logged 20 snaps each on offense this season, would both be in line for an uptick in snaps if Brown is unavailable. There would also be a larger share of targets available for Chris Godwin, Mike Evans, and Rob Gronkowski.

Brown is fifth on the Buccaneers this season with a 12.5% target share and he is the only player on the team with an average depth of target north of 20 yards. The Rams have the fifth-best pass defense in numberFire's advanced team rankings and the fifth-worst rush defense.
