Bears' Andy Dalton (knee) headed to locker room; Justin Fields in at quarterback
Chicago Bears quarterback Andy Dalton (knee) is currently in the locker room during Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Justin Fields will replace him.
Dalton got banged up on a previous play, but was able to re-enter the contest shortly afterwards. However, the veteran quarterback went down again briefly after rejoining the starters, meaning we could see our first full glimpse at 2021 NFL Draft first-round pick Justin Fields today. Dalton is currently questionable to return.
Dalton managed to throw a touchdown to Allen Robinson in the first quarter to get things going, but didn't muster much after that. He's 9 of 10 on passes for 56 yards and a touchdown, and also added 25 yards on 2 carries prior to his exit.
