Broncos' Jerry Jeudy (ankle) sidelined 4 to 6 weeks

Denver Broncos head coach Vic Fangio confirmed Monday that wide receiver Jerry Jeudy suffered a high ankle sprain in Sunday's victory over the New York Giants and will be sidelined 4 to 6 weeks.

What It Means:

The positive news is that Jeudy avoided the worst in what appeared to be a devastating injury, escaping with a still-tough high ankle sprain. Jeudy, who caught 6 of 7 targets for 72 yards before the injury, is almost certainly headed for a stint on the injured reserve.

With Jeudy absent, Tim Patrick could be worth a look for fantasy purposes (especially while Courtland Sutton continues to ramp up following last year's torn ACL injury). The fourth-year pro averaged just under 50 yards per game last season, including 3 100-yard performances, and caught all 4 of his targets in Week 1 for 39 yards and a touchdown.
