Rapoport: Austin Ekeler (hamstring) will be a "full go" for Chargers in Week 1
Los Angeles Chargers running back Austin Ekeler (hamstring) will be a "full go" in Week 1's game against the Washington Football Team, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
As of Saturday, Ekeler was already "expected to play" but the use of the words "full go" seems to indicate that his missed practices this week truly were precautionary. Our models expect Ekeler to handle 12.8 carries and 4.4 receptions against a Washington defense ranked third-bet in numberFire's NFL Team Rankings.
Ekeler's Week 1 projection includes 58.4 rushing yards, 0.58 touchdowns, 35.4 receiving yards, and 14.9 FanDuel points. His salary is $6,900.
