The Indianapolis Colts placed wide receiver T.Y. Hilton (neck surgery) on injured reserve.
What It Means:
Hilton will miss at least three games. As of now, it's not clear whether Hilton will be ready to return when first eligible. The 31-year-old will likely compete to be the Colts' No. 2 target behind Michael Pittman Jr.
numberFire's models expect Hilton to average 5.9 targets, 3.4 receptions, and 46.8 yards per game this season. In 2020, Hilton ranked 38th in yards per route run, out of 84 wideouts with at least 50 targets.
