Seahawks' Russell Wilson feels "better than ever"
Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson is ready to go ahead of his 9th NFL season.
Wilson was rumored to have been considering demanding a trade out of the only franchise he's known as a pro, but it seems as though he's locked and loaded entering the 2021 campaign. “I feel better than I ever have. I’ve been training like crazy, as you know,” he told ESPN 710 Seattle. “I’ve been working my tail off and my mind’s more clear than ever.” Wilson remains one of the better quarterbacks available for fantasy given his mobility, and while he doesn't have designed runs often, he finds a way to pick up rushing yards on scrambles. Expect him to be a Top-10 option once again this year.
Our models currently have Wilson as QB6, projecting him for 400.04-of-594.87 passing for 4,394.81 yards with 35.85 touchdowns and 10.82 interceptions. They also ballpark him for 407.23 rushing yards and 1.97 scores on the ground.
