According to head coach John Harbaugh, Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Rashod Bateman (groin) will undergo surgery with September as a target return date.
Baltimore's first-round pick could miss around six-to-eight weeks after core muscle surgery this week. With Bateman's timeline relatively unknown, Sammy Watkins is on track for a lead role among Baltimore's inexperienced wideouts until the Ravens' rookie can return.
Our models project the veteran to produce 32.2 receptions for 379.0 yards and 3.3 touchdowns on 54.3 targets while Bateman's expectation stands at 58.8 receptions for 707.8 yards and 4.8 touchdowns on 91.4 targets.
